ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Serena Rosemore is a pretty strange woman with many talents.  She prefers her privacy, (hence the pen name), and is a self proclaimed extroverted introvert.  Her passions lie in creating, and she excels at fine arts, crafting, singing, and writing.  She also takes pleasure in gardening and spending time in nature (especially the beach).  She currently resides with her wonderful children and husband, who she adores, and their small collection of quirky cats.

Something Other was upon its start intended to simply be a fun erotic tale, but quickly grew into something more complex, and in the author’s mind, deeply meaningful.  Because of the author's stubborn nature, she intentionally wrote her first book devoid of any knowledge of suggested word counts, or novel writing parameters.  As a result, a story arc that was intended for one novel quickly flushed out into a length more than twice your average book. Serena was then left with no choice but to curse her own mulish attitude, and cut her story into two parts.  She hopes that her readers will forgive the abrupt ending of

Something Other, and persevere to enjoy the second novel Darklight.

Most importantly, Serena hopes that if any of her readers have experienced trauma similar to that of Celeste or any of Something Other’s characters, that they will be inspired to stay strong, and feel encouraged to reach out for help.

If you are suffering in silence, you do not have to.  You are worthy of love, and you deserve kindness and compassion.
